Great RV Destinations Where You Can Still “Work From Home”
One of the best benefits of working remotely is the option to travel / vacation at any time and still have the ability to work at your chosen profession. This incredible flexibility allows you to drive your RV to the destination and either work for a few days as you acclimate before you begin exploring your new location or work intermittently as you enjoying being in a different place. “Working remotely while traveling” comes in many forms. Some of the ways to do this as a remote worker are:
- The weekend getaway: Going away for a shorter weekend trips are the perfect way to test drive whether traveling and working remotely at the same time is the right thing for you. For example, you can spend a Friday working as you travel by RV and then enjoy your weekend in a different location.
- The beach vacation: Whether you want to work actually on the beach or complete projects in the RV before exploring, a beach vacation is a great way to relax and enjoy some away time while getting projects done.
- The wine tour: Imagine positioning yourself at a winery and then being able to log off for the day and then sampling some of the region’s best wines. You can make this scenario a reality by RV working remotely in or around various famous wine regions that lie all across the United States.
- The new cityscape: If you just want a change of scenery, working remotely while RVing to a new city is a great experience. Most larger cities offer co-working spaces. So if you want to, you can connect with other remote workers while gain some insight into your new area you are about to explore.
- The food tour: Experiencing the local cuisine of an area away from home is simple when you work remotely. Hopefully you will spend more time in a single place compared to a typical vacation, it enables you to try more culinary experiences and restaurants in order to find a new favorite.
- The small town: Getting away to a small town (especially if you live in a larger one) allows you to experience a peaceful getaway without neglecting your work. Many smaller towns offer RV parks, which can give you a base easily explore small towns before or after work.
- The camping experience: You can enjoy the great outdoors and an excellent Wi-Fi signal when you do remote work while camping. Many campgrounds and RV parks offer Wi-Fi free for guests. This makes it easy to complete some work from your RV before going hiking or roasting s’mores with friends and family.
